Paris Hot Spots

Maria and I have both visited Paris in the past (clearly, we loved it so much that we decided to call it home for several month!) During our previous trips, we both visited some of France's most famous landmarks. Everything from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre, there are so many fabulous landmarks dotted throughout the city. So whether you'll be visiting Paris in the near future or dream of getting there in the distant future, here is our list of the top places you need to see while in Paris.

Eiffel Tower: No landmark captures the essence of Paris better than the Eiffel Tower. It is simply stunning in person! You can climb to the top for an amazing view of the city, or sit in the expansive green space that lies beneath it, enjoying a crepe, soaking in the beauty. I was just in Paris this past June (the later photo is myself and some friends hanging out beneath the Eiffel Tower!) and my favorite night was spent sitting on the lawn, sharing a bottle of wine and some cheese with friends. So fab, and so french.

The Louvre: Simply one of the most beautiful museums in the world! The Mona Lisa is a most see and the building its self is stunning!

Le Sacre Coeur: To me, this small yet stunning church provides one of the most gorgeous views of the city. It is located at the highest point of the city! Climb the stairs to the top and you will be thrilled by the view! There are also lots of great shops and cafes in the neighborhood. Oh, and the Moulin Rouge is right up the street! Another great spot! The surrounding sex stores will for sure make you laugh.

Musee D'orsay: This is without a doubt my favorite museum. Set in an old train station, the building itself is beyond stunning! The artwork is fantastic as well. Less crowded than the Louvre, it is a great place to spend the afternoon!

Champs Elyees & L'Arc de Triomphe: This tree lined street is simply stunning and hosts the beautiful L'Arc de Triomphe. There is great shopping that ranges from very expensive to very affordable! It is one of my favorite spots in the city

Notre Dame & The Latin Quarter: Notre Dame is argued to be one of the most beautiful churches in the world, and it really is. The garden in the back is also stunning! Just blocks away is the latin district which hosts tons of fun restaurants, bars, and shops!

Note, these are all very touristy spots! We have yet to uncover Paris's hidden gems... those will be coming the future once we've spent some time living in the city ;]  What's your favorite Paris site?!

Bisous,
M&M
